HPDE and single seaters

I am building a RSX with full roll cage. It only has 1 seat. do I need to redesign this for another seat or can single seaters be used?

you don't need a track prepped car for hpde. If you've never done a track day before, then you would benefit from having an instructor in the car with you. but if that's not an option, you can do a lead/follow day with an instructor. it's just not ideal in my opinion. a full cage and etc is unusual for HPDE. unless you've done this before.
