Rule proposal: brake mod factor in ST5 and ST6

Now that Champs are done, is it a good time to write our letters to Santa the rules committee?

I propose we remove rule 6.1.7.3 from the ST5 and ST6 rule book. Lots more detail here: Link.

St5 in NorCal has been pretty lonely the last few years. Removing unnecessary rules might help.

I applaud the effort and time you took on that write up.  But, you hit the reasons why not to change the rule as well as the possible reasons to change it.  Cost containment and the fact that competitors choose to use the Mod Factor half the time are great reasons that the rule is working.  But, I love your Conclusion:

Does this matter? Probably not. 0.2 is a very small mod factor. I should’ve spent my time
learning how to drive better, rather than writing this But I think we should still clean up the
rules.
