lserva Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 Not every race car is equipped with a radio, or many don't have someone who can help from track side. During double yellows for example, many have been "caught" by not knowing the green has dropped. So, why not make it fair for everyone? Flagtronics is fairly cheap and many tracks already have the system installed (Lime Rock, VIR, Watkins Glen, etc). Maybe not make this proposal a mandatory/required install, but have the system functional and available for whoever wants to use it. It seems it'd improve safety while allowing everyone the opportunity to have rapid in-car communication. 1 Quote
mrgsquared Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Want to follow up on Luiz's inquiry about Flagtronics. I am all for this because on a restart, you can be caught out if the flagger is not within site. Quote
