lemonsracer Posted May 2 Posted May 2 (edited) The rulebook currently states about ABS: Anti-lock braking systems may only be OEM and offered specifically for the car model (any trim model or generation) as a factory option. No systems offered for a different car model or aftermarket systems are permitted, with the exception that the BMW E46 MK60 and MK60e1 ABS (including Teves/ATE standalone) may be used on any vehicle with the BMW original or CSL reflash programming. No motorsports or custom programming of the MK60 or any ABS unit is permitted in ST4 (effective March 1, 2023). Since this is the case, cars that have no ABS aren't allowed to add an ABS system, unless retrofitting an OEM system from the exact model. But some cars didn't even have an ABS factory option, so why not give a mod factor bonus for running a car without ABS? Wouldn't this possibly help in getting a wider variety of cars in Super Touring? I dont think it needs to be anything substantial, as having ABS is definitely an advantage, but not a huge advantage. Maybe like a +0.3 to +0.6 or something? Edited May 2 by lemonsracer Spelling error Quote
