Computer relocated to Passenger floorboard. Kirkey intermediate 14.5 on factory slider. Simpson 5-point duck-bill (punched "Sept. 05") Full DOM mild steel cage with proper backing to proper points. 'Side braces' but NO 'Nascar door bars'. 'Simplified' wiring (non-essentials removed) 60% insulation stripped from interior. Gel battery in Passenger floorboard (ILLEGAL for 944-SPEC) Door interiors gutted and latch relocation fabbed. 5# ABC Amerex (not a home depot special). No passenger seat. Window net. EXTERIOR: All insulation stripped from underside and firewall. All suspenion, driveline and braking components cleaned and painted. Stripped cookie cutters with RA-1's. Good fresh single stage black paint (easy to touch up). Stock glass widshield with numerous cracks. No wipers, no headlights, no turn signals, no heater, no defrost, no air conditioning, no cupholders. 2371 with 1/2 tank and no driver. (595/610/585/581) Emergency electrical shutoff installed. Sunroof bolted in. DRIVETRAIN: Stock 'open' transaxle ('tall' fifth). New Sachs clutch kit. Swepco 201 in transaxle. '87 junk yard top and bottom end (165,000) with '83 intake, injectors, AFM, TB, etc. New oil cooler seal kit installed. New balance and timing belt(s) installed. New head gasket and cam assy gaskets installed. New water pump installed. 'Late' tubular stock 'headers' gusseted for cracking. 2 1/2" exaust with Dynomax Racing tubular muffler (dumps out in front of transaxle). New oil pressure sending unit. All smog components removed. Fabricated A/C delete. New alternator. SUSPENSION: 30mm rear Sway-A-Way torsion bars. 350 lb front 2 1/2" C/O's with AL hats and perches (variously sourced). All available bushings changed to urethane. 28mm Welt front stab bar kit (solid heim'd end links). 22mm Welt rear stab bar kit (solid heim'd end links). Bilstein P30104 front inserts Bilstein B36161 rear shocks Early steel control arms box-welded. Fresh professional alignment (F: -2.2* & .08* R: -2.3 & .16*)ball-joint safe max w/o camber plates. Fender heights: 23 7/8, 23 3/4, 23 7/8, 24. Porterfield R4 pads all around. Motul 600 throughout. Steel lug nuts. Ebrakes removed. No front camber plates! No front strut brace! Everything disassembled, cleaned, painted, repacked.
