PeanutinCA Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 With a light hearted tone... maybe we should all update our safety equipment! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8H9c1PkWUGM P.D. Quote
comatb Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 There is absolutely nothing lighthearted about the deaths that resulted from some of these incidents! I do agree that we all need to protect ourselves as best we can and sometimes that death's stark reality is needed to motivate us to act in our safety. Quote
PeanutinCA Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 You are correct, there's nothing lighthearted about any deaths, had they occurred? You just can't be percieved as shoving safety down peoples throats around here, they don't respond well. Best to let them watch it and then decide that bad things can happen, anytime, anywhere and to anyone. Quote
944-Spec#94 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I still remember that Greg Moore Crash At Cal Speedway. I saw that one live on TV. Still bugs me as he was a good young driver with alot of potential. Quote
Tim Comeau Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 TV? I was at the actual event. It was stupid that Cal Speedway had that section of wall that jutted out perpendicular to the race course. Absolutely NOWHERE for the crash energy to be dissapated. Tragic........ Quote
