Since VVC is dead how about adding a AI-+class or something

This could draw in tons of folks.

Just a add of vipers and vettes, they could run toyo's and run in a American Iron 2 seater class or something.

So four classes. AI, AIX, AIV, and AISupercar

Now that would kick some butt.

How about it??

This topic kinda came up before. I am sorta in line with somehow adding the Vettes, at least, into AI, assuming though they run a 17in wheel, 275/40 tires like the rest of us. And, they meet the HP/TQ ratios, etc... Although they have a slightly better aero profile, I think it would be an internesting matchup.

As far as the Vipers, I am not technically savy on those.

I hope this topic is raised with the directors for 2007.....

Vettes and Vipers have a class to run with "SU".

AI is the Modern Trans Am, I think its fine other than

being spec Mustang.

my .02 cents

American Iron by it's nature though should include all american rear drive cars?

Vette's and Vipers have a definite advantage besides power to weight thus why I would think a seperate class.

I just thought it would be nice to give these folks a real home to run in a low mod mostly stock vette/viper

I agree it would have to be a seperate class because there is no comparison between the performance of a Mustang and a Vette or Viper.

Once you have a seperate class what's the difference than VVC?

Exactly (re: VVC). Can you say, "Been there, done that". The numbers never panned out. Vettes, Vipers, and all other high hp and lower wt/hp ratio cars will have a place to race in the two new classes coming out that fit between PTA and SU.
