dwinger Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 (edited) 6 month old Autopower Race rollbar with removable cross brace and harness bar. Perfect shape, with hardware. Best offer. Located in Southern California. 818-777-8839. **Local pickup only** Edited May 15, 2008 by Guest Quote
SoloEvo Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 This is a long shot, and quite after the fact, but has this rollbar sold yet? If not, would you consider shipping? Devin Quote
dwinger Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 The rollbar is still available but I think shipping it 2,400 miles via truck on a pallet might be cost-prohibitive! If you're ever on the Westcoast let me know! I do have coilovers that I can make you a good deal on though! Dean Quote
SoloEvo Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 If you don't mind me asking, how much was shipping from autopower? I'm willing to pay within reason for shipping. I saw your other coilover post. I'm not sure on which I'm brand I'm leaning to at the moment, but I'll keep it in mind. What are the spring rates? Devin Quote
dwinger Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 I drove down and had the bar installed at Autopower in San Diego. I believe they mention shipping options on their website. When I purchased it it made sense to go down there and pick it up rather than having it shipped to me due to the cost. I cant even imagine what it would cost to ship it to the East coast. I purchased the coilovers from Road Race Chassis. They require you to sign a NDA if you are interested in knowing the specifics about your setup's spring-rate, valving, etc. I did not sign one. I can tell you that they worked very well at the track but were not too "punishing" on the street. Granted, they were more firm but they did soak-up the big bumps better than the stock setup. It's the holiday season, make me an offer! Dean Quote
SoloEvo Posted December 14, 2006 Posted December 14, 2006 Looks like shipping to an East Coast buisness will run about 160$ according to IO Port. I have a friend who is making a cross country trek back home, and if he is still in Cali, he may be close to you. Where are you located? As for the suspension, I can't make any sort of offer until the current one I'm selling is gone. Devin Quote
dwinger Posted December 14, 2006 Author Posted December 14, 2006 That is not as bad as I would have thought. Though it would be great if your friend was able to drive it to you! I'm in Huntington Beach in the evening, Hollywood during the day. I could throw it in my truck and bring it to work if your buddy wanted to check it out and Hollywood was more convenient. 818-777-8839 Dean Quote
Neon2dmaX Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Check Greyhound for shipping bulky items across country. I paid about $100 for a complete modern kart (less engine). I think the weight limit is 100 lbs. Quote
dwinger Posted January 23, 2007 Author Posted January 23, 2007 This thing is in the way, car is long gone.... $250.00 obo. Quote
dwinger Posted May 15, 2008 Author Posted May 15, 2008 Still sitting in shed. Best offer....... I need to clean out the shed! Ridiculous offers will be considered! Dean Quote
Meat Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I have a friend who may be interested, what model is it (street, race, street-sport)? and you're sure it will fit a 9? Quote
dwinger Posted January 11, 2009 Author Posted January 11, 2009 It is the Race version. I purchased it for an 8 but as far as I can tell the 8's and 9's are nearly identical. Would have to contact Autopower to absolutely be sure . Thanks Quote
