Karl Posted November 8, 2006 Posted November 8, 2006 Do I have to be a NASA member to compete in Honda Challenge? Yes. Membership info can be found on the NASA homepage. https://www.nasaproracing.com/joinrenew.html Do I need a special license? Yes, a NASA competition license is required to participate in the series. See the licensing page for details on how to obtain a NASA racing license. http://www.nasaproracing.com/proracing/license.html What kind of safety equipment do I need? Roll cage, harness, fire extinguisher, SA helmet, window net, driver suit, and kill switch. Details can be found in the NASA Club Code and Regulations. http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf Quote
granracing Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 Burke, What car(s) are you planning on building? You've probably already heard this, but it typically makes more sense to buy someone else's already built racecar than build one yourself from a money and time perspective. Have you done any HPDEs? If not, start there and work your way into wheel-to-wheel racing. Have you attended any of the NASA races? Quote
