Rob Hass' # 246 car passes smog and will be joining us soon!

This white 83 944 has been in work at my garage for a couple weeks now and is almost street legal again, which means Rob Hass will be able to drive it to events. He just attended the PCA High performance Driving School in San Diego and has been a 944 spec renter on a couple occasions.

This is one more car that has been sitting idle for years, but will now reenter the fight.

I'm also working on getting Dave Marguglio's car back into racing again. It's presently just sitting in a parking structure! Ready to race, no less!

We need more cars in the events, guys!

Please do what you can to assist others in getting these "sleeping" cars back on the track. Know of any?

Actually been meaning to ask this...

So let's say I complete my car and get bored of only doing DE up here in the soggy PNW...

What's the chances that I can find someplace down in Cali to store the car in between events? I could trailer it down, leave it there, and then just fly in and pick it up for events... would actually be cheaper than long hauls, since you are a full day's drive away.

Just a random idea I have. How do you deal with getting rentals to the track when you too are driving? Ever do that?

I have room to store cars here in Az (outside but covered). I have truck big enough for a 2 car open trailer, 2500 8.0L V10 Dodge. I just have an open one car trailer now.

Eric,

I know Cal speedway was good about storing cars between events. See how Willow and Buttonwillow are?
