greg f Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 Anyone on this list have an interest in doing the 25hr? I have two friends up here that would like to go in my 86 944. It is completely prepped and was built just last year. Looking for two more funded drivers to fill out this potential team. Car does 2:09's at T-hill on the full course and has been very reliable, never a DNF. Let me know.... Greg Fordahl Quote
Tim Comeau Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 Greg, I wish you only the best up there. Most of us are committed to the race at Willow Springs down here on Dec 2-3. It may help you get drivers if you post who the other drivers are, what their lap times are, and what the cost per driver is. Before I get too old,........I'm going to do that 25 hour race. Quote
pixrken Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Greg, Congratulations to you and Team O'Connell on your overall win and record setting victory in the GT3 Cup car at the 25 hours of Thunderhill. Quote
greg f Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 Thanks, the weather was fantastic, not as cold at night as 04, and perfect in the daylight hours. I think this is the first year there was not a 944 entered. This needs to be fixed next year! I drove my 83 944 there, ( just in case!) My friends up here just started too late, I will help them next year to adopt a more do-able schedule. You have not lived until you fly your 944 off of the THill bypass Greg Quote
944 Swede Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 Congratulations Greg, good job. Between you and your wife the trophy room must be getting full. Quote
