Tim Comeau Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Yes, it's true. He burned his 911 while screaming that he was tired of being outspent, while it was clear to him that he was NOT being outdriven! Oh, he tried to keep up with the "wallet racing." His competition would get bigger brakes. So he'd get bigger tires. His competition would get a carbon fiber hood. So he'd get titanium connecting rods. His competition would get MOTEC engine management. So he'd get pistons made out of UN-OBTAINIUM." He was keeping up with a second, then third mortgage, until his competition pulled out the ultimate weapon.................the south beach diet. Yes, his competition lost 60 lbs and that advantage just couldn't be matched. So he decided to end the spending madness. He's now building a 944 spec racer. A car that can be raced all over North America on an even footing. A race car with increased resale value. Things were looking up for the racing monk. Quote
944-Spec#94 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Tim, Think you have been inhaling paint thiner again. Make sure when you strip the glue out of the inside of the car you do so in a WELL VENTILATED AREA. Quote
Tom #16 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Tim: I don't get it. What are you trying to say? I should have a racing monkey drive instead of me? Quote
Tim Comeau Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 Joe, I think Tom's been into my paint thinner.... Quote
