XAIX Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Ernesto, WOW! That thing is SLICK. I had not seen a current picture of your car until last night. The last time I saw it was 2003. I’m going to need 100 more HP than you just to overcome my aerodynamic disadvantage. The 69 Camaro will be better than the 66 Mustang was but still like moving a brick through the air compared to your car. Let me know the next time you are going to be Racing/testing in Nor-Cal so I can come see you. Dana Quote
Ernesto Roco Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 What 'cha talking abour Willis? Which pic are you looking at? I have some pics from SEMA also.. What a rush drving the car out of the convention center with hundereds op people on both sides of the street, and I stalled 3 times while people booed. I did get to drive it for about a mile down the buolevard in second gear. Quote
XAIX Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 Ernesto, Sorry for the misspelling on the topic heading…short between the brain and the hand operating the keyboard. The pics are on the Griggs web site. You have to give their suspension credit but to read their news flash you could have won with a 1956 36 HP Volkswagon engine. Maybe you need one of those trick Tilton multi-disc carbon clutches like were going to run. Tilton claims they are “very smooth†Quote
Ernesto Roco Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 It was on an incline, I was doomed when I had to stop right in the middle of it. After the 3rd stall I just laid down two rubber strips:) Quote
