Classification of BMW 325 (E36)('92-'98)(2.5L) as TTF* ?

Looking at the new rules posted: I did not see a listing for BMW 325 (E36)('92-'98 )(2.5L), but instead one for 323 (E36)('92-'98 )(2.5L) listed at TTF*

I am assuming that is a typo (listing 323 when it should have been 325), can anyone confirm?

Greg, can you clarify if the E36 325 will be TTF* ot TTF** (one or two stars)? My interest is specifically a '94 325IS

The listing will be:

BMW 325 ('93-'95) 3087 lbs TTF**

There are now separate listings also for the 325 (pre-'92), 325 ('92), 323 ('98-'00), 325 (01-'06), and 325i ('06).

I just looked at the rules and it still shows the BMW E36 325 as 323. I have a '92 325is. I assume that the car is classed as TTF*. Is that correct?

The listing will be:

BMW 325 ('92)(168hp) TTF* 2990lbs

I finally finished all of the base class revisions after researching the '07 data that is currently available. It is being reviewed by NASA, and will hopefully be on-line Monday or Tuesday. We are now up to over 775 model groups with base classes.

'92's have 189hp or whatever all the 92-95's have. Only E30 87-91 have 168hp.

Oops, yep, that listing is for the '92 BMW 325ic, not the 325is. Here is the rest of the listing, and I added the ic to the '92 with 168 hp for clarity. It was just this one model that had 168 hp in '92 (convertible).

325ic ('92)(168 hp) TTF* 2990

325 ('92-'95)(189 hp) TTF** 3087

The '92 325ic was the older (E30) body style carried over for an extra year with the old M20 168hp engine from the '87-'91 325i/is, while the newer E36 coupes and sedans were sold here from like mid-1991 on. The '92 (E36) 325i's and is's had the 189hp non-VANOS M50 engine. Therefore the listing is now correct. Thanks again for your attention to detail, Greg!
