mwwampler
At the PCA DE track day at Firebird East my 1986 944 NA's clutch started to slip during the 3rd session. Unfortunately, the clutch is new and has only 600 miles on it. I thought I was ok with the upshift/downshift's not exceeding 4500 rpm. Any thoughts/suggestions would be helpful. 944-Spec#94
My guess is some you got some fluid (oil, coolant, etc) on the friction disk. I have never had a clutch slip. I have done two clutches one in my street 944 Turbo and the other in my spec car. No slip and not hard to do. Sure it takes a while, but no "tricks" needed to install. If it continues I guess you will need to pull the clutch and inspect. Mike Welcome..... Do plan on running spec?
