Lower Fees for So Cal

As I was signing up for the NorCal/SoCal crossover, 4/3-4, I noticed the lower fees. Is the cost of racing that much more up here in NorCal? I was wondering why we pay more for the same track time?

Different tracks mean different prices- Buttonwillow is much cheaper to rent than pretty much anywhere else. I think Laguna is the most expensive.

Is California Speedway just as cheap as Buttonwillow, and Willow Springs? It seams that SoCal Prices are consistantly cheaper.

Really? We charged $365.00 to race at Cal Speedway. Generally The tracks are more expensive in Nor Cal but then again, you get to race at Infineon and go to dinner in NAPA. Not too shabby for an additional $24.00

Plus if you rented a garage that ran 490 bucks for total entry.

Thanks for the replies guys. I Just enjoyed the $275 entry fee this weekend at buttonwillow. I was also not aware that CA speedway was $365. My apoligies if I sounded wanting.
