DerekFSU Posted May 22, 2007 Share Posted May 22, 2007 Performance Autowerks/Whitis Motorsports is in need of a fulltime mechanic for race car prep, race weekend work, and performance modifications of all kinds. We are a Tallahassee, FL based performance shop with an inhouse dyno working on Nobles, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche, etc. We have a 12,000 sqft shop where we do more racing than anything else. This is not a 9-5 job from Monday to Friday. There is significant time on the road running different races all over the US in Grand Am (later this year), NASA, and SCCA. Lots of work, lots of racing, and lots of fun. While experience is important, positive attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn & win are highly valued.
