uberklasse
Talked to Dylan last night and I can't wait to hear all the stories from this weekend. My other buddy who runs with the BMW Club (Paul Kramer) said the 944 group looked very well represented. He started to tell me about a blue neon that rolled and I immediately knew who it was...can't remember his name, but he was thinking about coming into our group and spent a lot of time talking to Tim, me and Eric a month back at The Streets (POC STS Event) He even jumped on the board a few times...name is on the tip of my tongue. Anyway, it's a good example of why it's not a good idea to use your street car on the track. I was trying to convince him to make a move to the 944 spec series a while back. When I saw him at Buttonwillow I probably sent him in the other direction because I was P.O.'d about the ongoing mechanical problems with my car. My point of all of this is that our group has a lot of "buzz" right now. 2 different Porsche Shop Owners told me they are hearing a lot about the 944 spec class. As stated in other posts...These are 20 year old cars and problems will surface....people just have to know what they are getting into.
