RodeoFlyer Posted July 18, 2007 Share Posted July 18, 2007 As of 1/1/08 SCCA is making welded in cages mandatory where bolt-ins were previously accepted. Can we expect NASA to follow suit? The reason I ask is that I intended to install an Autopower bolt-in while my car is still in it's warranty period so that I can remove it in a jiffy. If welded in cages will be becoming mandatory I will wait until it's trailer time and have a real cage installed thru the dash rather than the intrusive bolt-in one that sits in front of it.
