mansier Posted May 20, 2003 Share Posted May 20, 2003 NASA OH/IN will be holding the Nelson Ledges Six Hour Endurance Race on August 9, 2003. The race will start at 3:00 and end at 9:00. The track has an open practice day on August 8, and more practice and qualifying are available on the 9th. All models of closed fendered cars are allowed. For car classification please referrence the NASA CCR at http://www.nasaproracing.com or email [email protected] directly. 2002 saw a 200 mile event put on at Nelson Ledges by the OH/IN region, and the event ran smoothly. Teams must have at least 2 drivers, and pit lane rules are similar to ALMS. A driver change may occur during refueling, but all work must wait until fueling has ended. No minimum pit stop time. All methods of fueling are allowed, and all fueling equipment will be inspected prior to the race, and after each refueling stop for safety.
