crazy_ugly_coyote
Alright I was able to press out 3 of my motor mounts with no problem, now for this last one it just calls for me to slide in 2 pieces in addition to the stock rubber. My problem is that it seems as if the original mount has swelled up not allowing me to put these in. These are supposed to be the easiest to install! I have tried freezing the thing over night as well as baking it at at 200 for a few hours in hopes it is water that has made it swell up so it will dry and shrink. Ive run out of idea's. Please help!!!!!
Renntag
Have you tried contacting the manufacturer? I really dig the butter in the the last picture !
JCraven
If at your last resort and willing to damage parts, i.e. manufacturers can't help, can't supply correct parts etc. grind the red urethane where it interferes with the black rubber until they fit into the rubber motor mounts. Renntag
or maybe heat the butter first over a low flame.
FlyingDog
Square plug, round hole. Call the manufacturer.
Renntag
but that can be fixed with the lathe.
