mtbracr1
I am selling this motor. It is 100% fresh and just rebuilt with 0 miles on it. This is a lot cheaper than paying someone to build you a motor. E-mail me at [email protected] with ANY questions. Here is the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7908173551&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT Thanks, Tyler
Spec-944#70
Nice motor. I have a question though that no one has been able to answer. What exactly are the specs on an early cam and late cam. I'd like to know the lift and duration of both to see the differences. I remember Joe P. and Paul B talking about them and saying the late cam gave about 2 more HP. 944-Spec#94
Exhaust Duration is longer for all 85.5 and later cars. There are two 944 cams for 8v 2.5L cars. 82-85 944 and all 944 Turbo's Run the same cam 85.5- 88 944's run another cam. This has a slight change to exhaust durtation. Danno (From Rennlist) has a Website that shows the cam profiles. and here it is... http://members.rennlist.com/951_racerx/CamProfiles.pdf

Spec-944#70
Tyler your motor will get more hits if you add "engine" in your title so when someone does a search on "Porsche 944 engine" it'll show. Good luck with it!!
Tim Comeau
Good point, Eric. Motors are ELECTRIC. Only NASCAR hillbillies call an ENGINE a motor! But, I do hope you sell your engine, Tyler. Sorry to see you go. You looked pretty quick at AMP.
Tom #16
Do ya have to use high-temp paint on the cam housing? That looks sharp.
