NASA Jim
In an effort to draw more racers to the big Mid-Ohio Madness Event (August 20-22, 2004) the NASA Ohio-Indiana Chapter is pleased to announce it will offer all racers who travel more than 1000 miles to attend the event ½ off their race entry fees for a three-day entry. The event will feature a huge Honda Challenge field and will also host the first American Iron Series National Convention. More activities are planned and will be announced as details are finalized. This offer is open to all NASA race classes and racers can obtain details on how to enter at this reduced rate by contacting Ohio-Indiana Director Lawrence Mansier at [email protected]. Rick Hohwart
Great deal! ..still can't make it FYI, reasons I won't go: No Toyo spec tire No HC exclusive run group Could hurt WCHC effort The spec tire is the biggest hurdle. I love the Toyos and hope that they remain the spec tire in WCHC for a long time. I did 10 race days plus two test days on the same set and could probably do another day..great value IMO. The exclusive run group would be easy to change. And perhaps the WCHC could consider upping the throwouts to 4 from 2. Knowing that I can miss an event to attend the National event would make it easier to justify the added expense of the long haul/time off etc.
