FandangoDrew Posted March 1, 2008 Author Share Posted March 1, 2008 I have found out last night that the idiot light will NOT work for the pressure gauge because it uses a uses a pressure transducer. maxxfish Posted March 2, 2008 Share Posted March 2, 2008 Drew, There is a small plus with a ellen hole right above the prssure sending unit on the oil filter housing. I haven't removed it yet, but am thinkg that it would be possible to get oil pressure from there. rscheiring Posted April 11, 2008 Share Posted April 11, 2008 I got a standard autometer gauge and sensor from Summit racing to use for my E30 M3. Sensor of course didn't fit in the block where the idiot light sensor went in, but I was able to buy an adapter from VAC motorsports which did the trick.
