Tim Comeau
Wow! we had a bunch of 944-spec people at the Sunday stadium DE event. Entered drivers were: Benbow Grow Ray/Wright Addy Rickard Wister Visiting drivers were: Comeau Yousko Foley Steele On Saturday, Marguglio brought his car down for sale, and we even got a visit from Eric Sorensen, who was "mysteriously" in S.D again........... It was like a reunion. Except everybody looked the same.
nkwright
Yes, it was an education for me. Got schooled in the tight 2nd gear turns by Benbow. He closed me hard in the tight ones. After flagging him by in the passing zone, I could keep up with him when I was behind in the tight ones. Problem was, I couldn't create a gap like I wanted to when was out front. The AMW car was fast. I think it needs a professional corner balance and alignment. To this point, it's only been aligned with hand tools. Pressures and temps look to be good. I think it needs more camber to turn better on the tight layouts. Driver needs a short track alignment as well!! It was fun!
