volksrodden Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 I have a 1970 vw beetle with the folling modd's 430 ring and pinion,shot shifter progresive weber carb after market exhust eltronic igniton. The tires are about an inch and ahalf wider then stock but on stock rims. Sounds like you probably want to start out with the HPDE 1-4 unless you are an experienced race driver. Check that out at http://www.nasaproracing.com/hpde/index.html HPDE is a great place to start and get familiar with performance driving. Good luck.
