jerseybrandon
Hey guys and gals, I bought this truck in July 2005 with 56,000 miles on it from a very reputable Ford dealer here in NJ. It currently has 107,000 miles on it and runs, looks and drives just as good as the day I drove it off the lot 3 years and 50,000+ miles ago. It was under Ford factory extended warranty to 95,000. I have the original window sticker and a lot of the original paperwork and manuals. This truck has never been in an accident of any kind, the title is clear, and there is no reason this truck will not treat its new owner as well as it has treated me for another 100,000+ miles. I have used this truck as my daily driver and also to tow my VW race car (2200 lb car on a tow dolly, you didn’t even know it was behind you), which it has done with no issues ever. The gas mileage is better than expected for a truck of this size. The all highway mileage is 16-17mpg if you keep it under 80mph, the around town/mixed mileage is a consistent 14-15mpg and I normally get 13-15mpg with a lot of weight in the truck towing, depending on terrain. Enough babbling, on to the details… OEM specs: 1997 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4 Moonlight blue exterior, medium graphite cloth interior Front and rear heat and AC Third row seat Factory mirrored glass Premium sound package factory 6 disc changer Four wheel disc, four wheel ABS Electronic 4wd, is NOT fulltime AWD like later models Triton 5.4L V8 Lighted running boards Skid plate package Tow package Four corner load leveling suspension Aftermarket items: Head unit is now aftermarket with aux jack in front for ipod Husky heavy duty rubber mats in all 3 rows Thin line grill (also have stock grill) Projector headlights Accel blue air filter (similar to K&N) SCT tuner, 87 octane tune is currently loaded Repairs and maintenance: American air suspension compressor and dryer, replaced 8/05 Upper and lower ball joints, replaced 10/06 Spark plugs and fuel filter, replaced 5/07 Rear shocks (now bilsteins), replaced 10/07 Front brake pads and rotors, replaced 2/08 Front sway bar end links, replaced 3/08 Rear brake pads, replaced 4/08 Oil changed religiously every 3,000 miles No outstanding recalls I am asking $6,500. This price will include the buyer’s choice of the aftermarket head unit or the OEM head unit and disc changer which I will re install for you. I am located in southern New Jersey and I am not interested in trades of any kind. You will not find a nicer example of this truck. If you any more questions feel free to ask, I will be posting photos in the next couple days. Thanks for looking, Brandon [email protected]
