crazy_ugly_coyote Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 I got a code for Speed Sensor and Knock Sensor a few months ago. So I replaced the speed sensor and that took care of the knock sensor code. Now lets move ahead 3 months. Same exact thing is happening. Vehicle goes into Limp mode and drives like crap. I replaced the speed sensor once again... worked for 15 minutes then back to limp mode. I then drove it to Aamco to have them diagnose it. They told me it was the over and underdrive shift solenoids. So I pulled the tranny apart last night and tested them. Everything tested alright. Put it all back together with fresh fluid. I tested the AT relay and it was fine. Checked the ECU pin outs and everything was kosher. Started the car up this afternoon and drove it for about 10 minutes, parked it for a second, got back in and went back into limp mode. Ideas?
