Rook
Been looking at the power/manual quick ratio steering setups offered for Mustangs by Flaming River. On one hand it'd seem like a great idea and make general navigation of turns easier, but on the other hand I'm wondering if it wouldn't just make the car harder to control. Opinions? Flyinglizard
Quick for solo, slow for road race. The Corvette quick box is too fast for road race, for most. You can use a large wheel to slow it down. I am not sure how fast the ratio for the Mustang is . The stock box felt fine for all of the cars I've driven. Rook
Hmm...from what Flaming River has posted...the stock ratio is 20:1 and the quick ratio rack is 15:1. Now, from what I know, the 2000 Cobra R was also a 15:1 rack. So it couldn't be that bad, ya think? I'm toying with the idea of manual steering for the weight reduction but...I dunno about that.
