FS in NC: light open tandem trailer *SOLD*

For sale is my open lightweight trailer.

The bed size is 12' X 6', 2"

Outside of runners is 71.25", inside is 30.5"

Overall length is 17' 6"

5' long ramps store underneath the runners

Color of unit is beige, a neutral color.

 

This trailer was built using 5" channel for the perimeter and 1/8" sheet steel formed in a brake for the runners. In addition to the front and rear crossmembers, there are two more in the center section. This trailer has Dexter Torflex tandem axles with German disc brakes, a tongue jack and has a total capacity of 4400#. I tow my current car that weighs 3000# and is 14.5' long with ease. Guess the trailer bare to weigh around 750#

It has 15" wheels and there is an unused new spare with it. When not on road or at track, trailer resides in Matthews, NC. Asking price is $1,000.

1/5/05 - Verified weight and it is 660.5# total and 496.5" without tires as they are on the ground. Why tow more weight than necessary??
