Balroks Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I've always wondered, what do the overall diameters they use for full slicks roughly translate to on normal DOT tires? Quote
FlyingDog Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 These diameters are millimeters. Just divide by 25.4 if you want inches. Normal DOTs do not have an outer diameter measurement, but you can calculate it from the other 3 numbers they give you. Like any tires, calculating the actual size from the labeled size only gives you a rough measurement. Easy way to calculate the metric sizes used on most DOTs: http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Quote
