D Algozine Posted October 15, 2004 Posted October 15, 2004 I've got to mention that a fellow rookie had an excellent showing in Sundays races at Putnam last weekend. In Race 3 Richard Cranston placed 3rd overall and 1st in AI, and in Race 4 he finished 3rd overall and 2nd in AI. In race 4 he built up an 11 second lead on the rest of the AI field, but his front control arm broke on the last turn of the last lap. There was contact with Robin Burnett as they exited the last turn, and still managed to finish just .7 seconds behind Robin. Richard has an excellent car and turned in some very fast laps. Great job Richard. I've got something to shoot for next year. Quote
RichardC Posted October 16, 2004 Posted October 16, 2004 Thanks Dave, It's not a one man show though, I wouldn't be in AI if it wasn't for friends like Gene, Kurt and Ted. Thanks Guys. Richard. Quote
Bryan Shugg Posted October 18, 2004 Posted October 18, 2004 Congrats Richard. That's good stuff. Hopefully not much damage occurred to the car as a result of the failure. Quote
