Black Horse Posted October 19, 2004 Share Posted October 19, 2004 Rule 5.10 Fire Extinguisher/Fire System should be expanded to include more that the dry sump oil container. There can be other flamable fluids in the driver's compartment beyond the dry sump. I would propose the paragraph be changed as follows: "When a dry sump oil container or other container housing flamable fluids, or when oil or fuel lines are routed through the driver's compartment, the competitormust install an on-board fire system........."
