bnewport
Eric was telling me that when the tranny gets warm, shifting gets hard and may be why my tranny grinds in 2nd or is difficult to get into 1st sometimes after a session. Any ideas? I'm attached a video to demonstrate... " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I guess there is no way to know without opening it but this only happens every now and then as you can see from the video. I just bought some Swepco 201 tranny oil hoping this will help with heat.
Tim Comeau
Billy, 1st and 2nd gear use the same selector fork in the tranny. They also are on the same cluster. Something might be loosening up in the tranny. Before you open the gear box, you might have a good close look at all the linkage on top of the tranny. Make sure it's all tight and assembled correctly. DON'T overtighten the 17mm head pivot bolt because it has a wasp waist and it will snap. Car sounds good in the video!
