Couple important things on points. We have 5 drops this year and those are shown in Red are your lowest totals in races competed so far. We have 16 points paying races this season with 14 completed. The points after drops show the best 9 of 14 races so far. Once we complete the last weekend it will show your best 11 of 16 races. Please consider this when looking at the totals and where your competition is as knowing what the drops come to makes a difference.

 

Also National was scored as we have scored all crossovers based on all the racers not just Az guys.

 

Enduro update.

 

For 944 spec the enduro will be scored like last year.

- Single points for the car We have not had a double points event in 944 spec since 2005 and won't be changing that.

- All drivers get the same points as long as they complete 30 minutues in the car. So two drivers in the winning car get 100 points each. However a single driver car the winner gets 100 points too. If a car wins and one driver only runs 25 mintues they get zero points and the other guy gets 100. If the car runs 2 hrs then breaks 20 minutes past the driver change the first driver will get full points based on finish position, but the second driver will get zero points since they didi not complete 30 mintues in the car.

- The car needs to run 90 mintues to be consiered a finisher and get full points. If you don't complete 90 mintues you get 1/2 the points of the last finsher (min 25 points for drivers over 30 min each). Now you can break down 30 mins in, spend 1 hour in the pits an then run the next 90 mintues and still be a finisher. However if you break 30 mintues and then drag the car out for the last 3 laps you will not be a finisher since you have only 35 minute on track.

- Supplmental rules for enduro fueling proceedures, pit stops, and driver changes will be the same as the rest of the classes.

 

So remember single points the car, 90 mintues car track time for full finisher points. 30 minutes per driver for full driver points. Everything else just like rest of the racers and will be addressed in the NASA-Az Sups for this event.
