scottbm3 Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I've run with Bob and Ball family in BMW Club for a few years now mostly at Mid-Ohio. They have a few cars that they run. I've raced against that car a few times, though in a different class. It's really fast. I'm pretty sure it's a E30 M3 skinned with a 2002 ti body. It has a lot of trick stuff, and he's always working on adding something new to it. Bob is quite the driver and is real fun to be around in the paddock. -Scott B. Villaconn Posted December 6, 2009 Share Posted December 6, 2009 Bob's car is a 2002 from behind the firewall to the rear seat. The remainder is a combination of E30M3 and tube frame. The S14 is built well and sometimes sports a dry sump. It is a very cool car, well developed and well driven albeit sometimes controversially.
