Dainbramage
I guess the title says it all. Do the Hans devices, or any head and neck restraint go out of date? Do you just get them re-certified and if so I guess you'd just have to ship it to the manufacturer for that? Thanks in advance!

Bruce L.
the tethers should be replaced periodically per the manufacturer's recommendations. bruce
HBennett
Everyone is correct. The SFI certification does not expire on head and neck restraints. We do recommend the tethers be replaced every two years if not involved in a crash. Howard Bennett HANS Performance
Tom A
Everyone is correct. The SFI certification does not expire on head and neck restraints. We do recommend the tethers be replaced every two years if not involved in a crash. Not yet anyway. Now that the last holdout has caved, I am sure the trade organization which writes the safety specs will mandate an expiration. In our best interest, of course.
