skrzastek
I am looking for insurance for my race car. I know it won't be covered while on track, but when I would like it covered while being transported and stored. Any suggestions? Anyone in the NASA family an insurance agent? obzezzed350
What you want is called inland marine coverage. I know the name may sound deceiving but its just what they call it, at least here in Florida. Its relatively inexpensive and they will cover your trailer, equipment, and tools at whatever value you set. Some have underwriting requirements like a enclosed trailer, locked garage, etc. Any agent in your state that writes commercial insurance should be able to help you. ZipZap
You can get trailer insurance that covers the contents. Doesn't matter if it's a car or bedroom furniture. Also, check homeowner's insurance for theft during storage. The principal here is that is is not a car per se, but personal property. I'm quite sure it matters. How much, I don't know.
almost heaven
I think this was discussed and some companies mentioned in a thread from last year. I hope insurance company reps do come out to the events - we need all the spectator fees we can get !
