baiwldrnner
Hey guys! So I plan to race in PT later on after I get my competition license. I'm debating whether I should get camshafts or oversize pistons to increase power. I want to get both, but I'm a strict budget so I can only choose one. Which of the two modifications yields more bang for the buck? Thanks.
kbrew8991
Veeeerrrryyyy car specific question. Kinda depends on the rest of the mods package you've got picked out while we're at it
Aardwolf
With the engines I'm familiar oversize pistons won't make much more power. There isn't much change in CID that way. A cam usually provides a very nice power gain. Make sure the heads and intake can flow enough. Take a look at what others have done to make the car have more power. Copy a well known combo! John Graber
Too manty points for the gain of those mods in PT. If you have money and points to give I would put it into the suspension mods where you get more bang for your buck.
