Memorial Day at High Plains Raceway

Registration is open for the 3 Hour event at High Plains Raceway on Memorial Day Monday. This is the first endurance event of three for the 2010 RMERC.

 

$196 per team of 1-3 drivers.

Great first race for the three event series!!!! 19 cars started and 17 were still running at the finish.

Short notes:

 

Everybody LOVED the "North" configuration of the track.

 

Difference at the end between 2nd and 3rd overall was 3.5 seconds.

 

Great Potluck/BBQ on Sunday night.

 

Thanks to the students of Intellitec College http://www.intelliteccollege.com/ who came out to act as pit crew for our "valet service".

 

Just over $1300 was raised for the American Cancer Society by the teams. Jimmy Aretakis and Pat Webber raised the most at $300.
