pixrken
NorCal's annual "Porsches at the Point" was a success with $1,200 in direct CASH payouts and over $1,300 in available contingencies for 944-Spec racers. Every 944-Spec racer came away with CASH regardless of finishing position! btw: The smoke is not exhaust but brakes cooking from the speed build up going downhill on the 180 degrees carousel onto a fast straight and then slowing down into the 180 degrees Turn 7 at Infineon (Sears Point). Race reports of the event can be found here: Ron's report: http://944spec.org/944SPEC/news/1-latest/179-challenging-autopoint-challenge Aubie's report: http://944spec.org/944SPEC/news/1-latest/180-return-to-the-point

pixrken
Thanks Charlie, I'm already working to make the 2011 Porsches at the Point a major event with even more sponsorships. The two big 944-Spec races for 2011 will be the 944-Spec Nationals at Mid-Ohio and the Porsches at the Point at Infineon.
