edhunter
Bought this suit, it's too small for me. Kept it, thinking I'd drop a few pounds, but that hasn't happened! Size 56 OMP 2 layer suit. This suit is several years old, but it's in great shape. Very lightweight suit. No holes, seams are good, dual zipper works fine, etc. Can bring to VIR this coming weekend if anyones interested. Black smudge on seat area... Small pink stain on L thigh adjacent to crotch...
cb2kgt
Ed, Appears to be my size from the OMP sizing chart. Never having owned a driving suit before, given the age, is it still legal for NASA, SCCA, etc...? Thanks Chris Boyd
edhunter
From the CCR, competition section.... Wouldn't matter for HPDE use. 15.17.1 Driving Suits A driver is required to wear a suit that covers his or her entire body except for hands, feet, and head. Driving suits shall be one piece carrying an SFI 3.2A/1 rating or higher (3.2A/5, 3.2A/10, 3.2A/15, or 3.2A/20) or FIA 8856-2000, FIA NORME 1986/1986. Since this suit is FIA NORME 1986 rated it will comply... No idea on the SCCA ratings though.
