AJ Hartman
I was doing a side job for a fellow racer and a pan brake would have made life a lot easier. Problem is, any pan brake over 40" is very expensive. Granted they are made to bend much thicker material than I would ever need. So I picked up a bunch of steel, and some castors and heres what I came up with. What ever I am bending a flange into I just use a piece if scrap to clamp it down with a couple vise grips. A vertical fin for the diffusor I was building Here it is on the diffusor
hustler
How do you make the bends so clean? I know nothing aout sheet-metal fab but need to learn it soon...people would laugh at my belly-pan less often.
AJ Hartman
its hinged on both ends and the one side lifts up to put a nice, straight bend in it. built the whole thing for about $100.

muffpro
Very nice work, both on the pan brake and the diffuser.
