I used 4 on my trunk lid but was thinking 6 would be better on the hood. 4 accross the nose and 2 in the back corners. Does anyone have any experience that would say to do otherwise? Rustic Posted March 22, 2005 Author Share Posted March 22, 2005 I would take the fastners off of the hood so you can see through the hole. That's the way I did my trunk. I drilled the holes where I needed the fastners and then fabed little brackets to hold the spring plate where i needed it.
