Tom R
is replacing the rubber steering column flex disk on most BMW's with a solid disk a no point mod? is there anything in the rules that mentions this item. I looked for this a few times but could not locate anything pertaining to this item. thanks for the help.
TurboShortBus
Unofficially, I don't have a problem with it, although I have already overlooked/fubarred a couple of other things today. What is the solid disk made of? Again, unofficially, I see no issues if it is made of polyurethane or delrin, although there could be some discussion if it is made of aluminum (but I doubt it). Technically, even the stock rubber is "solid." Mark
Tom R
the solid disk would be made of AL just because that is what i have lying around but i guess i could get some polyU from McMaster. thanks for the response.
TurboShortBus
I would still contact Greg G. directly, just to be safe. Mark
