Regarding Honda Challenge etc...I have a 1990 Civic Standard Model,currently the car would be classed in H5 in Civic NOC running 2000lbs +

I plan to change DPFI to MPFI ENGINE SWAP;

an Si engine D16A6/ usdm tranny or SOHC ZC & jdm Tranny for that specific 4th generation of Civic

IF i do this engine swap, where will i be classed?

H4 As an 1990 Si

or

H2 as hybrid?

:

i think i CAN DEBATE THAT I CAN BE IN H4 because that generatio of chasis did have both of these engines as Si.

Thanks.

If you are wanting to legally race in H4 you will need the D16a6 motor and trans and associated running gear. If you are going to run H2 use whatever combination works best for you and your budget.

associated running gear

Running gear?

1: Is this the approved roll cage, fire extinguisher, Master Switch etc. etc.

OR

2: is this the approved stock parts a 1990 si would have from factory; e.g. stock gear ratios, stock head/ports, stock compression/allowable modifications.

thanks.
