Hi all,

For sale is my 2009 Saab 9-7X Aero. This is the 390HP, factory LS2, AWD version. Saab came out with a total of 621 of these SUVs in only 2008 and 2009. In 2008, 500 of which were only offered in Carbon Flash Metallic (Black). 121 of which were in 2009, and only 21 were in Diamond Silver Metallic. All in all, an extremely rare, sleeper SUV.

For those that don’t know, these are identical to the Trailblazer SS under their skin. Same engine, trans, front suspension, airbag rear suspension, rear end gearing (4.10s), 20’’ wheels, etc…only difference is it’s the GMT-360 Saabified version which means a much nicer interior and different exterior.

Enough of a history lesson, here are the details:

2009 Saab 9-7X Aero 6.0

- Approx. 42,600 miles

- Absolutely never modified at all, with the exception of the resonator being removed for a bit more growl.

- Never taken to the track

- AWD (all Aeros only come with AWD)

- Factory Navigation

- Factory DVD Entertainment System with supplied GM headphones new in box

- Factory HIDs

- Sunroof

- Black leather interior with “AERO” stiched into front seats

- Heated front seats

- 30% window tint – matches factory

Oil changes have been completed every 3,500 miles. Not every 5,000…every 3,500 miles with 6.5 qts of Mobil 1 5W-30. My wife and I recently moved from NYC to San Francisco for a total of 6,700 miles, and yes, I did an oil change half way through (Dallas)…and once we arrived in California.

Brake pads were replaced at 34,000 miles with Hawk Light Truck & SUV pads up front and just regular Duralasts out back. Fluid was also completely flushed and given DOT4 ATE Super Blue. Still on original diff and trans fluid.

Exterior:

9 out of 10. Car was never a “daily” driver, even though it has primarily been my only car (took subway to work, so Saab only had weekend duty). Apart from the 4 week road trip my wife and I just completed a month ago from NYC to San Francisco the Saab has been garaged its entire life, and the paint reflects that.

Only exterior imperfection is a dimple in the rear plastic hitch surround that I have included a picture of below.

Interior:

9 out of 10 with the only imperfection being an inch long scratch on the driver’s seat due to incompetence. Picture included below.

The only time I have ever brought the car to the dealership was because I threw a gas cap code about 3 months ago, which ended up being a blown fuse. Fixed under warranty, no issues since.

Reason for selling:

I bought this SUV to have a fun truck to tow a racecar that I sold this summer. I towed a 1500lb Lotus 7 replica and a 1400lb enclosed trailer approximately 10 separate times ever with the Saab, so not a lot of wear and tear there. Probably has about +/-700 towing miles on it. Now that the racecar is gone, I’m looking into buying a Mustang and I don’t need 2 cars.

Title in hand, so no bank lien nonsense to deal with on your end.

KBB states my Aero is worth $27,800 in Excellent condition and $26,420 in Good condition…

Since no one ever actually follows KBB, I’m selling for $24,500. Considering the rarity of these cars, the fact that this car is in excellent shape and has never been modded, I think that’s fair.

I think that about covers it, let me know if you have any additional questions or picture requests.

Onto the pictures:

Monday bump. Everybody needs a 390HP SUV to haul your Thanksgiving groceries home in.........yep.

Also, just about 43,000 miles on the clock now. Shouldn't go much further, I've been driving the Mustang a good bit more.

GLWS, although I dont have the Aero, just the 5.3L, I love ours. Never realized how rare the Aero is, there is a dealership here in VA that typically has 1-2 Aeros at all times, along with the 5.3L and the V6.

Thanks so much! I'm not just saying this for the sale thread, but I'm going to genuinely regret selling this car. It's well made, comfortable, and PLENTY quick for a daily driver.

Anyone that lives in an area with that white fluffy stuff from December - March would absolutely LOVE this SUV. I never had even heard these existed until I started searching for a TBSS, came across this and just had to have it. It's been great for me since day one, but with the Mustang in the stable now and living in a city where I don't even need 1 car...I can't keep it.
