tar6day
What class would a 2011 Subaru STI work in wheel to wheel racing? The engine and tranny are stock. Computer, brakes and suspension are aftermarket. The car has full roll cage and is currently setup for rally racing. I would like to do some road racing. Thanks, Tim
kbrew8991
might squeeze into the top Performance Touring classes (PT) depending on what exact suspension, tires, etc etc. Super Touring will definitely fit it as well, alot more open ruleset. boomn29
It would baseclass in PTB if it's nearly 100% stock. PTA might be a good spot to run it, but the STi is usually down on power in TTA/PTA vs the competition. In PTx you have to count up pts for all your mods, so it helps to equalize the competition and keep costs down but can be restrictive. ST2 would probably be the best spot for it. It runs on a modified 8.7:1 power/weight ratio. So somewhere in the range of 360whp @ 3051 lbs or 415whp @ 3300 lbs could be legal. Unlimited brakes/aero, etc.
