I'm pretty sure that they are running the Derek Daly 1.8 mile course outside of the big oval. I was under the impression as well that it was the ALMS course, but I think there was a mix up somewhere along the way. Either way, you can't beat Vegas in November. Not insanely hot, and even if it is you can take a shower before hitting the air conditioned casinos at night. I do not see any registration link on the NASA site. Looks like it is hosted by NASA Nevada region. I don't see a way to sign up either. Hopefully someone that knows will jump in with an answer.
