Inquiring minds would love to know, especially those with early January events. Thanks!

I heard we were banning Corvettes, MR-2s, Mustangs, and Miatas. Apparently re-writing all of those rules takes time.

*whistles*

Edit: And yeah, I would like to know as well.

From the semi-official rumor (or the unofficial statement, either way lol) I have heard, keep your eyes peeled on Monday.

Our first event is January 7-8, so it doesn't leave us a lot of time, but it's possible.

your car is more Corvette than Miata, so you're banned anyway

is the BFG R1 really a +13 tire? having driven on it, i do not think it is anywhere close to an A6

any clarification on why this tire was bumped up would be appreciated

I believe it was bumped based on its undersized width markings.

You are correct. While the Hoosier 255/35-18 was bumped because it was exceptionally wide for Hoosier standards, the BFGs were bumped because all of their sizes are exceptionally wide compared to other brands.

Feel free to start a 20+ page thread on why it's unfair, nothing will come from it but it will give us all something to do instead of what we really should be doing!

The 2012 dyno thread will never get to 47 pages if we water down the forum with threads like this one!

I think I will start the inevitable 100 pager now---2013 Rules Consideration--Bump of +13 Point Tire Categrory.

(No, the R-1 would not bump with the others----most likely).
